About Us

We are men, women, and children of all ages who come together to worship God, pray together, sing, hear the scriptures and the preaching of the Word, and enjoy fellowship together.  We are friendly and welcoming to all.

We care for, support, and encourage each other as we strive to follow faithfully in the teachings of Jesus.

We have been in ministry for 170 years, serving the communities of Lyman and Dayton, but extending much farther into Biddeford, Alfred, Sanford, Waterboro, East Waterboro, Hollis, Saco, and other surrounding towns.

Our average attendance is about 50 per Sunday, and we are growing!

Regular programming includes the following:

Sunday school for ages 5 through 12 is during worship (September through May) at 10:30 am

Fellowship following the worship service

Monthly collections for the York County Food Pantry

Men's and Women's Groups meet on the first Sunday of the month at 9:00 am.

Choir Rehearsals on Sundays after church from 12:00 - 1:00 pm (September through June)

Fellowship suppers

Variety of mission collections

Gardens for the hungry during the summer - produce is grown to donate to local food pantries

Ecumenical connections with other churches in the area

And more!

From Interstate 95:  Take the Biddeford exit and turn right onto Route 111.  Follow Route 111 to Route 35 (Dunkin' Donuts will be on your left) and turn right.  Go about 2 1/4 miles until you reach South Street and turn right.  Take the next left turn at the Lyons Hall onto Church Street.  The church is only a few yards down on your right, and the entrance into the parking lot is easy to see.  The main entrance is up the ramp in the center of the building.
